Congratulations to David Gillie from our Burton, OH campus on his promotion to Process Technical Leader. Congratulations also to Richard McAdams who has been promoted to Process Technician and Jordan Pavlic, a former co-op,who is now a Chemical Process Engineer.

Congratulations to David A. Gillie who has been
promoted to the Process Technical Leader position,
reporting directly to Joel Karczewski, Quality
Manager. In his new role Dave will manage and lead
the Processing Engineering team including Jordan
Pavlic and Rick McAdams as well as the Factory
Service Technicians. His responsibilities will include
establishing and continuously improving the
manufacturing procedures and processes to
produce consistent products, reduce customer
issues, meet technical requirements and reduce the
cost of operations. He has served as a Process
Technician since 2013, and previously worked in
various manufacturing positions including mill
operations, compounding, and mixer operations for
eight years.

Jordan Pavlic has been on board full-time as a
Chemical Process Engineer since June, 2016, and
previously worked three different Co-op
assignments in different functional areas while
attending University of Akron. He holds a Bachelor
of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Akron, achieving academic honors of
“Cum Laude”. In his role Jordan will continue to
provide technical support and assistance to Quality,
Manufacturing, Development, Sales and customers.

Richard M. McAdams has been promoted to Process
Technician from his former role of Rework Technician
in the Quality Control Department. Rick has been
employed since November, 1996, starting as a Mill
Operator, advancing to QC Lab Technician and later
to Development Lab Technician. He also worked in
Shipping and Compounding before moving to the
Rework Technician position. He will be working with
Manufacturing, Quality Control and Development on
quality, efficiency and productivity issues.
