USD 12,000 can build a modern classroom which will help improving
academic performance of the pupils in primary schools in rural Tanzania.
This will help children having a good and healthy environment to study
and improve teaching performance.

USD 8,000 can improve health of more than 400 pupils by build a complete
modern kitchen with energy serving stove in one primary school in Tanzania. This
will help all children serve their time to study instead of searching for fire wood
during class hours, avoid canning from teachers, and increase their performance.

USD 15,500 can build safe and clean modern toilet block with 16 pit
latrines for more than 600 pupils in a public primary school. This will help
children from contacting communicable diseases like cholera, UTI and
bilharzias and improve their health.

There is no doubt in my mind that
through our partnership with Childreach
International, we have developed a
programme which takes CSR to a new
level.... we have developed: an award
winning CSR programme, a unique
approach to leadership development
with 15 Future Leaders participating each
year, a personal development
programme involving 30 EPT funded
employees each year, improved supply
chain relationships, and a close
working relationship with a charity that
knows how we work and can adapt its
approach to meet our needs.

Our work in Tanzania focuses on the 2ndMillenium development goal. To achieve universal primary education. This ambitious goal resounded around the world and provided millions of children with the rights to a free primary school education.An impressive achievement no doubt but Sadly what was overlooked, amongst others, is the rural poor communities this is the area we work in andstrategically focus our programmes on.Areas where governmental support and international aid often overlook.Talk about school improvement projects – renovating and constructing new facilities and improve the schooling environment.Most of the issues you hear in the schools where there is poor facilities is – poor attendance, poor academic performance and drop outs.
