● Renting a safe deposit box has several advantages:
- Gives company access to data 7 days a week
- Company can access data within 30 minutes
- Company maintains complete control of data
- Company cannot be blackmailed by server company
due to billing and/or legal disputes
- Assuming rent of $300 per year for box
- TD Bank at 2 Wall St. is open until 7 PM during the
week as well as Saturday and Sunday:
4. Rotate Drives
● Rotate drives on a daily basis
● Tech support person can make daily runs to TD Bank
● All drives, data encoded and rotation schedule can be
kept track of using a LibreOffice database:
