Created with efficiency in mind, the new
Kingspan Range Trinity 3c is a market-leading
solar thermal cylinder which is ideal for your
renewable home.
Typical installations generally utilise less than half of the solar energy
available, as solar collectors have to cut off to prevent the cylinder
overheating. However the Range Trinity 3c features innovative technology
which diverts energy into the heating system - ensuring you achieve the
maximum possible yield from the sun’s energy and benefit from cost
savings, a comfortable living environment and plenty of hot water.
THREE COILS. ONE CYLINDER.
The Kingspan Range Trinity 3c cylinder features a patented three coil
architecture. There are two input coils, for solar thermal input and an
auxiliary heat source such as a boiler or heat pump, and a unique third
coil designed to output energy into the central heating system.
Given the latitude of the UK, the amount of solar energy available will vary
across the year. This is why the Trinity 3c also benefits from an intelligent
environmental control that compensates for weather conditions to optimise
the energy efficiency performance of the cylinder. The control system
ensures that warm water generated from solar energy is used to preheat
the heating system before activating the boiler or heat pump - which
reduces any additional heating input required and keeps your heating
bills down.

Available in 380 and 500 litre sizes, the Kingspan Range Trinity 3c
cylinders come with either a heat pump or standard boiler coil installed
as a secondary input. They suit the most demanding of households and
are especially good for off-grid installations where fuel costs can be
particularly high.
