Description: My unit plan is on Friendship and this Web Quest will direct my students in
completing assignments that are related to the Friendship activities we will be completing in
class.

Introduction
Hello students, I hope all of you are having a good evening. I also hope that you are enjoying
learning about Friendship. On Wednesday we will begin class by the class by watching a video
of Friendship. After we watch the video, we will begin to create a class Friendship video.
Task
Before Wednesday, I would like for you to watch the Friendship video I gave you access to. After
you listen watch the video, I would like for you to write down what you would like our class
Friendship video to look like.
Process

Now that you have watched the video, I would like for you to write at least five ideas you have
for the class Friendship video. You can begin by writing what you would like for you and your
friends in the class, to do in the video. Just give me a few examples of what you think a good
friendship video looks like.
Evaluation
There are only two requirements for this assignment.
1.) Write down at least five ideas for a friendship video.
2.) I also want you to write down five qualities that a good friend has. These would be
qualities that you would like to be displayed in the class Friendship video.
I will read over your ideas and qualities in class on Wednesday.
Conclusion
I hope that you have enjoyed watching the Friendship videos I have given you links to.
Like I mentioned before, our class will create our own class Friendship video, which will
consist of combined ideas of every student in the class.
After we complete our class Friendship video, we will begin creating a Friendship book.
That assignment will be a lot like the other Friendship assignments we have completed.
I will have you look at examples of friendship books, and I will read a few to you in class.
Each student will write something about friendship and draw their picture to go with
what they wrote. I will then combine the pages from each student, together and we will
have a class Friendship book.

This Web Quest is about Friendship and how friends treat each other. Through these
assignments, my students will learn how to treat their friends and what qualities a good friend
has. It would take a couple of days to complete this assignment since the class as a whole, will be
creating a Friendship video.
Standards
The grade levels that these assignments are geared towards are kindergarten through second
grade. This assignment would be under Character Education since I will be teaching my students
the character of good friends.
