2008 Sept – Now Whart T & T (Senior Solution Consultant)
Working as a solution consultant to provide technical presales support and solution design
to meet customer’s requirement. Provide advise to the installation team to solve the
system technical issue and presales support to sales team. Presales support focus on IPT
solution with NEC UC solution which includes NEC SV8100, SV8300, SV8500,
SV9100, SV9300, SV9500, and UC solution on Cisco IPT Call Manager, Call Manager
Express, UC320, and UC solution Avaya IPO500, Avaya 8300. In hotel industry, provide
Hotel PMS solution and apps application. In finance market, provide presales support on
voice recording system such as Red box, Nice express and VC logger. In global market,
provide VC solution to customer with Polycom 700 HD, Polycom 500 HD, Avaya Scopia
XT4300 and XT5000. In cloud service, providing solution with Cloud voice (Cisco UC
solution), Cloud wifi, Cloud surveillance, Cloud Signage, Cloud Server to HK and China
market customer. In general, I shall provide technical suggestion and total solution to
general office and hotel market with integration solution of NEC and Cisco IPT, Avaya
IPT, IP DECT (Mobility), WIFI (Ruckus), Cisco switch and H3C switch etc. The
technical design and solution include voice network and the data network and CPE such
as H3C and Cisco switch, firewall and router. And the data network service includes
IPVPN, IEPL, Metro IP, MPLS as well.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide solution which includes IPT UC, VC, cloud service, data network and voice
networking solution to tackle customer’s problems and needs. Oversees customer’s IT
infrastructure (voice network, voice system and services, structured cabling) to provide
multi-site integrated solutions. Provide sales training to internal sales team. Draft tender
document for customer and prepare the tender compliance document and proposal for
customer who includes government and corporate customer. Provide technical support to
sales and engineering team and keep close relationship with SI for the product marketing.
Advise the technical solution and strategy planning to product manager for targeting the
market in Cloud Voice service (Cisco UC) and IPT.

2. 2007 – Sept, 2007 PCCW (Senior-Presales Manager, Shanghai office)
Responsible to manage 3 pre-sales teams located in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.
Leading the sales team and responsible to provide pre-sales solutions and consultancy to
customers from enterprise to global firms located in China market and cross boarder.
Responding to the RFP and tender, work closely with HK sale team to work out the best
solution to the RFP and tender. Analyze the technical requirement, solution and risk
management in each project in order to have better winning chance. Co-ordinating with
local ASP and vendor to have support sales and technical support in China market.
Take over the leadership of the pre-sales team and provide coaching and training to pre-
sales team in product design and function. Advise and recommend IT development plan
and plan to achieve the sales target. Manage the presales team to ensure the defined target
can be archived while optimizing the use of resources. Required wired range of products
knowledge with constant updates. A creative and original thinking, sensitive and
consistent observations under different situations were essential for every successful deal.

Provide product sales and technical training to pre-sales team in Guangzhou, Shanghai and
Beijing. Stationed in Shanghai to provide consultancy and support to China presales team.
Provide data and voice and integrated solution to tackle customer’s problems and needs.
Liaison with vendor, sales, product team and back-end engineering departments on tender
bids and management.

2000 – 2006 PCCW Solution Consultant, (IPT specialist)
Working as a solution consultant providing technical presales support and solution to
PCCW customers. Since 2000, I have provided solution service to customers which
includes Hong Kong government, hospital industry, global customers, banking and
finance, SME, regional customers (Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing etc).
During these years, I worked on integrated solution and draft PABX tender document for
government hospital which includes Caritas Hospital, Queen Mary Hospital, UCH, PWH,
etc. And provide data network solution to government’s department (ATM, FR) to
LCSD, Water Dept, FEHD, CED, etc).
As an IPT specialist, I am providing technical advise or integration solution of Avaya,
Nortel, Alcatel, NEC, Cisco IPT, (PABX), DECT (Mobility) and Ditaphone, Maixsense,
Nice (recording system), FCS, Apex (IVRS), TAB (Call accounting system) to our
customers. The technical advise which include voice network and the data network
(Private wire, ATM, DDS, Frame Relay, IPVPN, IPLC, Metro IP, MPLS) as well.
