• Due to the nature of his fans, he was
incredibly hated, his Baby music
video become the most disliked
YouTube video ever, and also the
most viewed
• His second album saw him begin to
grow as his voice broke and he
began singing in lower keys
• Bieber released a feature length film

• In June 2011 he was ranked no. 2

3. 2011 - 2015
• Believe was Biebers third studio
album released in late 2011
• His single Boyfriend was announced
on The Ellen Show and was released
in March 2012
• Believe began to venture from his
previous teen pop style, into R&B as
he was determined to develop a more
mature sound
• Despite the change it became his
fourth number one album
• His second film, Justin Bieber’s
Believe, was a follow up to his first
successful movie
• The Believe album saw a change not
only in his sound, but also in his look,
opting out of his signature fringed
hairstyle

4. Youth Image• Bieber has always been named as a
teen heartthrob, and due to this has
always brought criticism over this fan
type - young teenage girls
• For a long time he was also criticised
due his image, as he looked and
sounded younger than his age. He
was also criticised for his
androgynous look
• His religious faith supported his
innocent good boy image and he has
been known to speak out on many
Christian issues, such as sexual
abstinence, and abortion
