2. Once upon a time there was
a princess named Elizabeth.
She lived in a beautiful castle
and had all kinds of
wonderful clothes. She loved
a Prince named Ronald and
they were going to get
married.
3. Except there was a dragon that
had other plans. He destroyed
the castle and all of Princess
Elizabeth’s elegant clothes. He
even carried off Prince Ronald.
4. Princess Elizabeth had no idea
what to do but follow the
dragon. The dragon had burnt
everything in his way. So he was
pretty easy to follow.
5. Before heading out
Princess Elizabeth needed
clothes but all she could
find that was not burnt
was a dirty, brown, paper
bag. She put it on and
continued on the burnt
path to find the dragon.
6. The burnt trail ended at a
huge cave with a large door
at the entrance. Elizabeth
grabbed the knocker and
banged on the door. Then
out came the dragon. He
said, “ oh look a princess! I
love princesses but I have
eaten too much today.
Please come back
tomorrow.” He shut the
large door right in her face.
7. Princess Elizabeth did not give
up. She grabbed that large
knocker and banged on the door
again. Then the dragon pocked
his nose out. Elizabeth shouted
“Wait!” Before he could slam the
door in her face. “ Is it true that
you are the greatest dragon in
the whole world?” Elizabeth
asked. “Why yes! That’s me! I am
the greatest dragon in the whole
world!” replied the dragon.
8. Now she had the dragons
attention. “Is it true,” said
Elizabeth, “ that you can burn up
to ten forest?”
“Yes,” said the dragon. He blew
out so much fire that he burnt up
to fifty forest.
“Wonderful, again!” Said
Elizabeth and the dragon blew
out so much fire that he burnt up
one hundred forest.
“Again! Again!” Shouted
Elizabeth and the dragon tried
again but nothing came out.
9. “Dragon, is it true you can fly
around the world in just ten
seconds?” Said Elizabeth.
“Yes, I can! You'll have to count!”
Said the dragon. He jumped up and
flew around the world in just ten
seconds. When he got back Princess
Elizabeth shouted, “Again!”
Then the dragon flew around the
world in just twenty seconds.
10. When he got back the dragon was so exhausted. He
laid down and went straight to sleep.
Elizabeth then shouted right into the dragons ear.
“Hey Dragon!” The dragon didn’t move an inch.
11. Princess Elizabeth jumped
right over the dragon and
opened the door to the cave
where Prince Ronald was. He
saw her and said, “Elizabeth
you are a mess! You are
wearing a dirty, paper, bag!
Come back to me when you
look like a real princess.”
Frustrated Princess Elizabeth
replied,
“Prince Ronald you look like a
real prince but you are a bum!”
