February 2010 to November 2011 Executive Director
MIT Enterprise Forum Russia. Moscow, Russia
Launched the non-profit organization in Russia. Led and coordinated startup activities, including
fundraising, franchise negotiations, volunteer recruiting, event planning and execution. Organized a series
of TV appearances by the Forum’s members. Organized entrepreneurship seminars and bootcamps.
Coordinated and helped to organize first ever appearance of MIT leadership on 2011 St. Petersburg
Economic Forum (SPEF 2011). Also for SPEF 2011, planned and executed inaugural MIT Enterprise
Forum panel: selected topic, selected and invited speakers, developed scenario, coordinated logistics,
including international travel, accommodation and visa support for speakers and invited participants (30+
participants); panel attracted 150 + attendees and journalists from major news agencies.

Co-founded and startup in food retail. Developed business, marketing, sales and financial plans. Planned
retail network, negotiated with locations Opened retail presence in 10 places across Moscow. Had to exit
because sudden change in retail regulations made the business unprofitable.

Developed and managed strategy, operations, marketing and sales programs for Ryzhi Ap – a national
dairy brand targeting 4-7 year olds.
Directed daily business activities, oversaw execution of marketing and sales for the national and 8
regional markets. Monitored market, identified risks and business opportunities, led development of new
products and improvements of existing ones within the brand family, together with sales organization
developed merchandising strategies.
Organized and directed marketing events, including theatrical events at local theaters (10 events),

included original theatrical design, educational games and product sampling. Market research studies
were conducted on the material obtained during the events and covered target auditory of more than 10

Orchestrated and directed marketing and promotion campaigns in 8 regions and 24 large cities in Russia,
Ukraine and Kazakhstan – “Summer with Ryzhi Ap”. More than 100 000 children attended events, timed
to celebrate the beginning of the Summer Holidays. Lead development of the event designs, scenarios,
ordered all materials advertising and promotion materials, sampling sets, personally and remotely
coordinated and directed the events, analyzed data collected during the events.
