Scope of work and achievements
During my tenure as Senior Director - EVP in charge of Research and Strategy at Strategic Communications Group (SCG), I was managing a team of analysts and researchers locally and overseas and was dealing with high profile decision makers in the political, business, academic and public spheres. I was also managing three major accounts.
My position within the company consisted on carrying out in-depth research and preparing reports, analysis and white papers, conceptualising and preparing content for major events, assisting in a variety of lobbying efforts, elaborating strategic action plans and compiling strategic policy advice for clients on issues of importance, such as image promotion, risk and crisis management, public relations, strategic communication, good governance and media relations.
My tasks and achievements within the organization included:

As a freelance Event Director for IQPC Middle East, I produced:
“Critical Infrastructure Protection in Oil and Gas Africa Conference”, Accra, Ghana, which aims to facilitate the meeting of industry leaders, decision makers and service/solution providers to address the most prominent security challenges in the African oil and gas industry and also promote bilateral cooperation in order to better protect offshore and onshore critical infrastructure in Africa.

ITS UAE Forum, Abu Dhabi: This event will bring together government officials, national and international stakeholders and solution providers to share their expertise and discuss the latest state of the art Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technologies and their major contribution in:
-Promoting economic competitiveness through efficient, high-quality transport services
-Protecting people’s lives by maximizing safety and road security
-Delivering world-leading performance in environmental sustainability by using resources responsibly, minimizing pollution, and preserving the environment.
For both conferences I successfully secured speaker faculties of high level decision makers in the military, academic and business fields. (Speakers lists and events brochures can be provided upon request)
Scope of work:
 Conducting commercially focused research with security experts, senior level oil & gas professionals and decision makers from the private and public sectors to develop relevant conference topics and agenda.
 Acquiring and confirming a high level panel of speakers.
 Preparing the conference budget.
 Providing the company’s marketing department with strategic information that allowed them to market the conference, including: detailed information on the target market both in terms of industry sectors and disciplines and geographic markets, relevant industry associations, industry publications, and competitive event.
