About the Company
Australian Network on Disability (AND) is a not-for-profit organisation that advances the inclusion of
people with disability in all aspects of business. We provide expert advice and services to our member
organisations, helping them to welcome people with disability as employees, customers and suppliers.
AND works with its private and public sector members to review processes, develop programmes and
policies, and provide training that helps organisations identify and remove barriers to people with
disability.
AND piloted the first comprehensive business standard on disability in Australia in 2012, introduced
Australia's only internship programme for skilled and talented university students with disability,
introduced employment and customer charters to help organisations build their disability confidence, has
consulted extensively on Disability Action Plan development, and supports a group of executives who are
'disability champions'.
AND was established in 2000. From its Sydney head office, AND staff travel to other cities to meet
regularly with member clients. AND’s membership has grown in leaps and bounds, and has been
resourced by its members since 2004.
