• Working for a very busy department that produced the New Store, Extensions and
Refits for the Tesco estate.
• To ensure all diaries are maintained correctly and clearly in accordance with the
Directors/Development Managers/Store Development Managers needs.
• Administration, comprising of travel bookings, various correspondence, arranging
meetings, recording holiday, sickness, steering wheel, reviews etc. Ensuring they
are completed accurately and on time.
• Letters of intent are prepared in the standard format, including their distribution.
• Certificates of Payment - Ensuring these are dealt with and signed off ASAP for
processing through Accounts Payable.
• Post – Opening, checking what action needs to be taken and by whom, distributing
as appropriate.
• Telephone: Internal and external calls, some dealing with customers, residents and
higher level internal staff.
• Filing and Archiving
• IT –Word, Excel, Power Point, Printers, Photocopies, Simpler Desktop/Outlook and
Lotus Notes. Audio Typing.
Go to person for any technical issues on these elements.
• Raise and monitor all the IT equipment orders for the department
• Responsible for the receipt of all the departments’ legal documents, to ensure they
are signed by our Power of Attorney and then sent to Corporate Secretariat for
execution as appropriate. Monitor their progress by the use of a tracker.
