The Student Success Plan is a tool to help you assess your readiness for learning
in an online and technology rich environment. Your personalized plan will give you
an idea of your strengths in the different components that the survey assesses.
You will see your results below for three key areas: Technical Knowledge, Life
Factors, and Individual Attributes. Your results will indicate the areas of our New
Student Orientation course that are the most important for you to complete. A
multitude of resources exists inside the course to prepare you to be successful in
class.

The following color scale is used through the success plan to rate your results on
each item. It allows you to identify areas of strength and areas of opportunity for
you to work on in the orientation course.

2. Orientation Checklist
Congratulations!
Now that you have completed your Student Success Plan, it is now time to put
your plan into action. If you need help in reviewing your Student Success Plan,
please contact your Admissions Representative or another Graduation Team
member.
The purpose of the Orientation Checklist below is to give you a quick view of your
priorities in this Orientation class. You can print this checklist to keep track of
your successfully completed assignments. Your checklist will also be available to
you in the Orientation via the Student Success Plan link in the Module 1 overview.
The checklist in the classroom will update with checkmarks as the assignments are
successfully completed. In addition to using the checklist, it is important to visit
the Gradebook to receive your professor's feedback.

To begin, visit the Campus Common to access your Orientation class. The first
thing that you will see in the classroom is the professor's Announcements. Read
these first, then continue to the materials under Course Home in the classroom
navigation bar on the left.

4. Technical Knowledge
This section reviews how comfortable you are with using technology in your daily
life. This is important because you will frequently use various forms of technology
throughout your program. The more comfortable you are with technology, the
more opportunity you will have to be successful in your program.

3 Technology Usage
You are quite organized and adept at using several technology
applications. You will be able to use and sharpen these skills while taking
your courses. You may benefit from completing these assignments
