(Joined L & T as junior Engineer in 1965, he rapidly rose to
positions of increasing responsibility as he moved from General
Manager to Managing Director and CEO, leading to his
appointment as Chairman and Managing Director on December
29, 2003. Effective April 2012, the Board of Directors extended Mr.
Naik’s tenure as Group Executive Chairman.

With a degree in civil engineering and a post-graduate
qualification in business management, Mr. Subrahmanyan
commenced his professional career with L&T in 1984 as a project
planning engineer and soon made a name by successfully setting
up the Ready Mix Concrete business for the first time in India.

Chief Financial Officer
qualified Chartered Accountant and a Graduate of the
Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. His
contribution includes up-gradation of the Company’s
processes for Investor Relations which enabled the Company
to gain repeated recognition for Best IR practices at Asian
level.
Shailendra Roy:- Whole-Time Director &
Sr. Executive Vice President
(Power, Heavy Engg. & Defense)
(B. Tech, Before joining L&T, Mr. Roy was Managing Director &
CEO of Bharat Heavy Plates & Vessels Ltd., a Government of
India undertaking, He is the driving force behind positioning
L&T in the Defense sector and has given renewed thrust to
indigenization in these critical sectors in sync with the ‘Make
in India’ initiative of Government of India.)

4. D. K. Sen:- Whole-Time Director & Sr. Executive Vice
President (Infrastructure)
(A Civil Engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur and a Post Graduate in
Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur, he holds additional
responsibilities as Chairman on the boards of L&T Infrastructure Engineering
Company. Mr. Sen steadily rose up the ranks and during this period he led
several marquee projects that underscored L&T’s standing as ‘a builder of
nations’.)

(started his career in L&T as Junior Engineer with a degree in Civil engineering,
has completed a Senior Executive programme for London Business School. His
experience is rich and varied having worked across domains like hardcore
Construction, Business Development, Contracts Management and Property
Development. Mr. Satish drives the implementation of latest construction
practices at project sites across India )
