Grocery Store No-No’s Part 3
*Keep an eye out for PART 4 of this Toilet Tip
Hershey’s Cereal – This is not
breakfast, this is candy. A serving
of this cereal contains 14 g of
sugar – not a great way to start
your day.
Instead: Eat a real breakfast. Whip
up a veggie omelet or a bowl of
oatmeal.
Eggland’S Best Hard – Cooked
Peeled Eggs – Not only is a bag of
eggs gross, but they are also
preserved with sodium benzoate
which can cause hives, asthma,
and other allergic reactions.
Instead: Boil eggs yourself! It’s
cheaper and you avoid gross
preservatives.
Popsecret Movie Theatre Butter
Popcorn – Popcorn can be a
healthy snack,unless it’s
smothered in butter. A bag of this
popcorn contains 13.5gtrans fat!
That is a crazy amount!
Instead: OrvilleRedenbacher’s
Smart Pop is 94% fat free!
Smucker’s Goober—A PB&J
sandwich can be a great pre or
post workout snack, but this jar is
loaded with high fructose corn
syrup.
Instead: It’s not too hard to scoop
out peanut butter and jam
separately. All natural peanut
butter and jams contain less sugar.
Bisquick – Believe itornot,
your deliciouspancakescontain
between1-1.5gtrans fatper
pancake.Trans fatis the bad fat
that causesheartdisease.
Instead: If youare craving
pancakes,finda “healthier”
versionusingoatmeal.
