In this presentation I will explain about my idea and what it's about, I will also talk about the budgeting and the project timeline.

2. What my idea is all about?
• Firstly the idea of my project will be about life in Sunderland and how it’s culture has evolved an where it stands
in todays Society, the whole concept will be animated in a stop motion setting mainly since it is something I am
pretty good at doing, all of the work that I done will be relevant to the Sunderland Culture.
• The story will be about a man who goes on his daily life in Sunderland and will visit iconic real life locations like
the stadium of light, the penshaw Monument, the city centre etc.
• The reason I choose to have this as an idea as I would like to express my creativity and creating a fun animation
in stop motion is quite more entertaining for an audience of many different age on the other hand some
animations I seen such as robot chicken are more aimed for older audiences due to it having adult humour.

3. Character and story
The character is inspired by my Personal and Social life he will also be portrayed as your fellow
average, young, Sunderland Mackem who will be just living his life at the fullest in Sunderland,
of course he will be visiting iconic places like the town city centre and will be going to pubs,
McDonalds but will also visit iconic places like the winter gardens and the stadium of light,
however his character design and ark is still under development as I am creating this
presentation.
Overall it will be a simple animation that is relatable and fun.

4. Who is my Target Audience?
Mainly my target audience is for people of age 12 and above, most of my targets will be Mackems
because it is all Sunderland based, however this animation I am making will also be suitable for anyone
who is from outside the culture, the animation I plan to make is going to show the audience a little
spice of life in Sunderland and show people what living in Sunderland feels like.
The animation I plan to make will feature skits and funny relatable moments the reason I wanted to
make a stop motion animation out of it is because I thought it would be more fun and interesting for a
generation of both young and older audiences to see a more cartoony fun version of Sunderland rather
then a more grey and too realistic approach of filming it.

5. Budgeting
The budgeting will be low since I am not spending a lot for this project, however the resources I have already
obtained may cost more then you think on the long run, for example: The equipment I am using to record is an I
phone 11 (which is already what I own) it’s value will be worth around £340.00 average since it’s new if purchased at
a full price but however if you bought a monthly contract from O2 and you were only paying £23.00 per month, in
12 months/ year the cost will be £276.00, the contract lasts 2 years and the price will be roughly £552.00 in total
just for the Phone itself which will be used to act as a camera for my animation (yes I could also use a more
professional camera but I don’t have the money).
The Props I will use such as star wars vintage figures and some other random figure toys that are worth £5 or more
(Individually), however value of figures may vary or change depending on condition and rarity, the budget I have
already spent on figures previously in total is quite a lot, the collection of figures I have collected in total could be
worth thousands of pounds, of course some are sealed which raises the prices. The budget I would have spent on
my figures will be lower then their worth/value since prices vary and change to certain figures due to how more rare
that can get.
