This document discusses the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) concept in schools and raises several questions about its implementation. Specifically, it questions what BYOD really means, how it could work at the author's school given issues like poor internet access, and the social narratives around technology. Both pros and cons of the BYOD approach are listed, with key cons including catering to the lowest common technological denominator and potential high costs. In the end, the author concludes they could not currently implement BYOD at their school due to the internet issues but might be able to with practice and confidence.
