2. It is very significant that you should be aware
of your space when you are moving to avoid
falling and bumping with the people around you
to move freely and safely. You call this skill space
awareness.

3. Self- space or personal space is your
own place or without moving away from your
space. You do nonlocomotor skills in your
self- space.

4. General space is the space within a
room or open space where you move with
your group or where everybody is moving.
You perform locomotor skills to explore your
general space.

5. Direction is the path on which
something is moving or pointing.

6. Forward- move
toward the front.

7. Backward- move
toward the back or
behind.

8. Sideways- move
toward the right or
side.

9. Up- move
upward from a lower
to a higher position.

10. Down- move
downward from a
higher to a lower
position.

11. Pathways are made up of straight,
curved, and zigzag lines or ways. You can
travel in a straight, curved, and straight line.

13. Level of Movements
•Low movement- move
your body near or close
to the floor or ground like
creeping or crawling.

14. •Medium movement- You
move not too low nor too
high like walkin g,
jogging, or running.

15. •High movement- in a
higher level, like jumping
and leaping.
