Career Summary:
More than 12 years of working experience on local justice system both rural and urban context over
the country as a managerial position, I have achieved the experiences of local and traditional justice
systems, it’s implications, importance of ADR, AC and Village Court system to resolute dispute locally
through legal framework. I have achieved significant experience on project management, planning,
facilitating, monitoring, reporting and corresponding with Govt. High Officials of Judicial &

I have been working since 2003 to till now on different legal issues holding managerial position in
different districts and a divisional headquarter. From 2003 to 2011 I was directly involved with Union
parishads to activate Village Court to ensure rural justice system. I have been working directly
involvement with Union parishad, district judicial and administrative sector officials like District Judges,
CJM, CMM, Lawyers, Court staffs, Police administration, District administration and civilian expertise

moderating weekly discussion talk show on National legal aid services importance over Khulna Radio
Center and give answers of phone call from countrywide audiences, organize pot song on legal aid
services act and process of getting opportunities from it, conduct legal awareness oriented
workshop, seminar, and meeting with the participation of District, Upazila and Union level legal Aid
Committee members, Conduct training and organize meeting with ward level access to justice
committee and youth clubs members. Partnership management and follow up their implementing

- I am able to motivate information ministry to get order of 50% discount rate on our sponsored
radio program.
- I am able to set up two hotline mobile connections with hand set free of cost from mobile operator
of Rabi and Bangla Link for District Legal Aid Office Khulna.
- I am able to get free and nonstop advertise facilities of legal aid services from local satellite TV
channel Khulna Vision.
3. Advocacy Officer ( March 06, 2011 - November 10, 2013)

In accordance with project design, identify advocacy issues, rights and social issues, including
gender sensitive issues and develop new initiatives. Liaison with different organizations at local,

communicate with City Corporation, WASA, KDA, Department of Environment, KUET, KU and DPHE

Ensure school sanitation to create access of WASH services by the service providers engaging with
CSO, DPEO, DEO, DPHE, Education Engineering department and District and metropolitan Education
Committee. Maintain close linkages with governmental officials, policy makers and other
counterparts. Facilitate in designing and implementing strategies for the advocacy component of the
program. Ensure necessary support for timely implementation of the advocacy program. Collect all

Major achievements:
- Implement Decentralized Waste Water Treatment System at Peoples Colony of Khalishpur under
Khulna City Corporation and prepared Video Documentary on DWATS functioning.
- MoU prepared and signed with Khulna City Corporation and received 7200 square feet land form
KCC to jointly implement Faecal Sludge Management system.
- I was able to connect three individual water points for the sweeper community, those are
connected with water meter and this was the first meter connection of Khulna WASA. Now
sweeper communities feel proud to be engaged with other communities and service providers.
Khulna WASA has been revised its citizen charter with the option of piped water connection for
CBOs, now they are providing piped water connection to different CBOs.
- I was able to connect different slums of Khulna city area with ongoing pipeline networking
coverage of KWSP (Khulna Water Supply Project) which is implementing by ADB-JICA. After
ending the project all slums area including railway slums will be coverage and dwellers will get
piped water.
- I was effectively engaged with PEHUP project strategy paper preparation of Water Aid
Bangladesh.

Major achievements:
- To provide legal aid to the litigants who are incapable of seeking justice due to financial
insolvency, destitution, helplessness and for various socio-economic conditions, legal aid
services act is an effective act to serve them. With regular coordination of District Judiciary
sector Legal Aid Services Act were be more effectively used in Rajbari district. It was surveyed
from Law Commission where it was identified and disseminated nationally that Rajbari is the top
of other than districts in Bangladesh where Legal Aid Act was used 99% (Report will be provided
if required) that helps to reduce case backlog in judicial sector.
- Before 2003 the project implementing period community people including UP representatives of
Rajbari district were not introduced with Village Court. They used to traditional mediation to
conflict resolution. After implementing the project interventions with the assistance of district
judiciary and administrative section UP representatives were realized on VC importance. Till then
they are using VC to conflict resolution and District Judiciary department forwarding VC cases
(which financial value are more than 25000) to specific village court Chairman for dispute
resolution regularly. UNO are also receiving some certificate cases to implement verdict under
PDR act. I was effectively engaged to establish VC in the project area, which was recognized
among the stakeholders.
