to enhance their capacity to achieve human rights with dignity.
Career Summary:
More than 12 years of working experience on local justice system both rural and urban context over
the country as a managerial position, I have achieved the experiences of local and traditional justice
systems, it’s implications, importance of ADR, AC and Village Court system to resolute dispute locally
through legal framework. I have achieved significant experience on project management, planning,
facilitating, monitoring, reporting and corresponding with Govt. High Officials of Judicial &
Administrative sectors, NGOs and donor agencies. I am able to engage with team based policy and
program dialogue, experience of organizing and moderating workshop, seminar and advocacy meeting
being a resource person.
Special Qualification:
I have been working since 2003 to till now on different legal issues holding managerial position in
different districts and a divisional headquarter. From 2003 to 2011 I was directly involved with Union
parishads to activate Village Court to ensure rural justice system. I have been working directly
involvement with Union parishad, district judicial and administrative sector officials like District Judges,
CJM, CMM, Lawyers, Court staffs, Police administration, District administration and civilian expertise
from 2003 to till now. I am confident enough to provide expected inputs from the position which would
be helpful to achieve project objectives.
I have experienced to moderate live discussion program in electronic mass media on rights based
issues. I am able to prepare MoU, PP, concept paper, Training modules, budget, conduct training. I am

locality. Assist Project Admin and Accounts Officer for effective budget analysis and for internal
control. Coordinate with project participants, community people, elite, leaders, local govt.

responsible for coordination with donor agencies for smooth implementation of the project activities

I have formed Upazila and Union level Legal Aid Committee to provide legal aid support for the
beneficiaries. District legal aid committee are receiving application from destitute community and
providing govt. legal aid support.

Have to handle all types of Project Management including Communication, Planning, and
Supervision, Monitoring, Reporting, Record Keeping and general corresponding with USAID, District
Legal Aid Committee, District Judicial sector specialists and District Administration. Arranging and
moderating weekly discussion talk show on National legal aid services importance over Khulna Radio
Center and give answers of phone call from countrywide audiences, organize pot song on legal aid
services act and process of getting opportunities from it, conduct legal awareness oriented
workshop, seminar, and meeting with the participation of District, Upazila and Union level legal Aid
Committee members, Conduct training and organize meeting with ward level access to justice
committee and youth clubs members. Partnership management and follow up their implementing
activities to keep on track. Applications receive from poor, incapable and destitute litigants and
submit to district legal aid committee for dispute resolution. Observe legal aid day. Coordinate DRR
and VSO program activities, partnership management and corresponding with Donor, District and
Upazila disaster management committee to implement program activities smoothly.
Major Achievements:
- I am able to motivate information ministry to get order of 50% discount rate on our sponsored
radio program.
- I am able to set up two hotline mobile connections with hand set free of cost from mobile operator
of Rabi and Bangla Link for District Legal Aid Office Khulna.
- I am able to get free and nonstop advertise facilities of legal aid services from local satellite TV
channel Khulna Vision.
3. Advocacy Officer ( March 06, 2011 - November 10, 2013)

Duties/Responsibilities:
In accordance with project design, identify advocacy issues, rights and social issues, including
gender sensitive issues and develop new initiatives. Liaison with different organizations at local,
regional and national level to advocate on WATSAN and environmental issues. Regularly
communicate with City Corporation, WASA, KDA, Department of Environment, KUET, KU and DPHE
authorities. Liaison with different expertise of KU & KUET for conducting and assisting research/study
documents. Advocacy with KCC to implement DWATS and fecal sludge management in the city area.
MoU preparation with Khulna City Corporation to jointly implement faecal sludge management
system. Advocacy with KWASA to ensure piped water supply opportunities for slum dwellers in
KWASA citizen charter as well as to enhance pipeline networking for low income community. Prepare
issue based video documentary and dissemination (Video documentary preparation on DWATS).
Ensure school sanitation to create access of WASH services by the service providers engaging with
CSO, DPEO, DEO, DPHE, Education Engineering department and District and metropolitan Education
Committee. Maintain close linkages with governmental officials, policy makers and other
counterparts. Facilitate in designing and implementing strategies for the advocacy component of the
program. Ensure necessary support for timely implementation of the advocacy program. Collect all
project related documents, review and keep current on advocacy, human rights and social justice
issues that pertain to WATSAN/environment. Ensure proper documentation of lessons learned and
incorporate lessons learned in to the project planning and implementation process. Ensure
preservation of all necessary documents and materials. Establish and maintain direct linkages with
the local and national level organization, universities, research institutions and other forums and
networks as applicable for promotion of the project. Increase the capacity of staff and community to
advocate on WATSAN and environmental initiatives at regional and national levels. Coordinate
trainings, workshops and seminars related to advocacy. Establish and maintain good communication
with different concern experts and professionals. Develop a gender sensitive monitoring framework
that will allow the project to monitor progress towards achieving its overall advocacy related targets
and ensure a high quality of delivery. To develop a simple advocacy related monitoring and
assessment procedures for measuring impact at the field level. Build up the capacity of staff to
increase their effectiveness and skills. Identify staff training needs, develop and implement staff
development activities. Ensure timely and quality delivery of training to staff and other stakeholders.

Major achievements:
- Implement Decentralized Waste Water Treatment System at Peoples Colony of Khalishpur under
Khulna City Corporation and prepared Video Documentary on DWATS functioning.
- MoU prepared and signed with Khulna City Corporation and received 7200 square feet land form
KCC to jointly implement Faecal Sludge Management system.
- I was able to connect three individual water points for the sweeper community, those are
connected with water meter and this was the first meter connection of Khulna WASA. Now
sweeper communities feel proud to be engaged with other communities and service providers.
Khulna WASA has been revised its citizen charter with the option of piped water connection for
CBOs, now they are providing piped water connection to different CBOs.
- I was able to connect different slums of Khulna city area with ongoing pipeline networking
coverage of KWSP (Khulna Water Supply Project) which is implementing by ADB-JICA. After
ending the project all slums area including railway slums will be coverage and dwellers will get
piped water.
- I was effectively engaged with PEHUP project strategy paper preparation of Water Aid
Bangladesh.
4. Project Manager ( September 15, 2003 - March 05, 2011)

Supervision, Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, Record Keeping and general corresponding with GO,
NGO and Donor agencies. Liaison maintain with District Judiciary section, Legal Aid Committee and
Executive section to establish Village Court and free legal support properly. Arranging exchange
views on local justice system and governance, National legal aid services, legal awareness oriented
workshop, seminar, and advocacy meeting with the participation of District legal Aid Committee
members, District Commissioner , Chief Judicial Magistrate, SP, ADC, UNO, Physicians, Professors,
Journalists, Lawyers, Community Leaders, CBO (Community Based Organization) Leaders, UP
Chairman and Members being a resource person. Arranging mass campaigning and providing logistic
support to implement Legal Aid Services Act, Village Court, ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution), &
Arbitration council. Providing training on Village Court implementation procedure, ADR, Family law,
Arbitration Council and PDR act to UP representatives and CBO members. Regularly observing and
monitoring Village Court session to input necessary legal explanation according to VC act-2006.
Facilitate cases and legal complains for dispute resolution by using ADR and Arbitration Council
organized by UP and CBO leaders. Providing free Legal support for rural deprived community people
in different issues through Legal Aid and Services Act-2000. Arranging Legal awareness Meeting on
Divorce, Vulnerable Child labor, Dowry, Polygamy, Early Marriage, Maintenance, Village Court
process, Arbitration Council system, Land Rights among CBOs and other group members. Providing
logistic support for arranging conferences, workshops, advocacy meeting including liaison with
conference venue and suppliers of goods and services. Sharing opinion with local elite, educational,
cultural & social development institutions on human rights. Awareness creation on human rights
through participatory approach with the participation of college, madrasha & school students.
Observing different types of rally, seminar, national & internal day.
Major achievements:
- To provide legal aid to the litigants who are incapable of seeking justice due to financial
insolvency, destitution, helplessness and for various socio-economic conditions, legal aid
services act is an effective act to serve them. With regular coordination of District Judiciary
sector Legal Aid Services Act were be more effectively used in Rajbari district. It was surveyed
from Law Commission where it was identified and disseminated nationally that Rajbari is the top
of other than districts in Bangladesh where Legal Aid Act was used 99% (Report will be provided
if required) that helps to reduce case backlog in judicial sector.
- Before 2003 the project implementing period community people including UP representatives of
Rajbari district were not introduced with Village Court. They used to traditional mediation to
conflict resolution. After implementing the project interventions with the assistance of district
judiciary and administrative section UP representatives were realized on VC importance. Till then
they are using VC to conflict resolution and District Judiciary department forwarding VC cases
(which financial value are more than 25000) to specific village court Chairman for dispute
resolution regularly. UNO are also receiving some certificate cases to implement verdict under
PDR act. I was effectively engaged to establish VC in the project area, which was recognized
among the stakeholders.

Know level of empowerment in the communities and how community is aware for and raising voice to lead a dignified human life. Know governance, rights and legal services for the extreme people and how to raise their voice getting the services. Share strategies with the Program staffs know the existing power structure of the community and analyze how power structures are playing role and responsibilities in the communities. Assist project staffs to analyzing the cause’s conflict, and identify the poorest families and their present situation having legal services in applicable cases. Major achievements: I have formed Upazila and Union level Legal Aid Committee to provide legal aid support for the beneficiaries. District legal aid committee are receiving application from destitute community and providing govt. legal aid support. 2. Project Coordinator ( November 11, 2013 - December 31, 2014) Women Job Creation Centre Company Location : Khulna Department: USAID`s Justice for All Programs, Duties/Responsibilities: Have to handle all types of Project Management including Communication, Planning, and Supervision, Monitoring, Reporting, Record Keeping and general corresponding with USAID, District Legal Aid Committee, District Judicial sector specialists and District Administration. Arranging and moderating weekly discussion talk show on National legal aid services importance over Khulna Radio Center and give answers of phone call from countrywide audiences, organize pot song on legal aid services act and process of getting opportunities from it, conduct legal awareness oriented workshop, seminar, and meeting with the participation of District, Upazila and Union level legal Aid Committee members, Conduct training and organize meeting with ward level access to justice committee and youth clubs members. Partnership management and follow up their implementing activities to keep on track. Applications receive from poor, incapable and destitute litigants and submit to district legal aid committee for dispute resolution. Observe legal aid day. Coordinate DRR and VSO program activities, partnership management and corresponding with Donor, District and Upazila disaster management committee to implement program activities smoothly. Major Achievements: - I am able to motivate information ministry to get order of 50% discount rate on our sponsored radio program. - I am able to set up two hotline mobile connections with hand set free of cost from mobile operator of Rabi and Bangla Link for District Legal Aid Office Khulna. - I am able to get free and nonstop advertise facilities of legal aid services from local satellite TV channel Khulna Vision. 3. Advocacy Officer ( March 06, 2011 - November 10, 2013) Nabolok Company Location : Khulna Department: PEHUP project, UPRA Research project /WaterAid Duties/Responsibilities: In accordance with project design, identify advocacy issues, rights and social issues, including gender sensitive issues and develop new initiatives. Liaison with different organizations at local, regional and national level to advocate on WATSAN and environmental issues. Regularly communicate with City Corporation, WASA, KDA, Department of Environment, KUET, KU and DPHE authorities. Liaison with different expertise of KU & KUET for conducting and assisting research/study documents. Advocacy with KCC to implement DWATS and fecal sludge management in the city area.
  • 3. MoU preparation with Khulna City Corporation to jointly implement faecal sludge management system. Advocacy with KWASA to ensure piped water supply opportunities for slum dwellers in KWASA citizen charter as well as to enhance pipeline networking for low income community. Prepare issue based video documentary and dissemination (Video documentary preparation on DWATS). Ensure school sanitation to create access of WASH services by the service providers engaging with CSO, DPEO, DEO, DPHE, Education Engineering department and District and metropolitan Education Committee. Maintain close linkages with governmental officials, policy makers and other counterparts. Facilitate in designing and implementing strategies for the advocacy component of the program. Ensure necessary support for timely implementation of the advocacy program. Collect all project related documents, review and keep current on advocacy, human rights and social justice issues that pertain to WATSAN/environment. Ensure proper documentation of lessons learned and incorporate lessons learned in to the project planning and implementation process. Ensure preservation of all necessary documents and materials. Establish and maintain direct linkages with the local and national level organization, universities, research institutions and other forums and networks as applicable for promotion of the project. Increase the capacity of staff and community to advocate on WATSAN and environmental initiatives at regional and national levels. Coordinate trainings, workshops and seminars related to advocacy. Establish and maintain good communication with different concern experts and professionals. Develop a gender sensitive monitoring framework that will allow the project to monitor progress towards achieving its overall advocacy related targets and ensure a high quality of delivery. To develop a simple advocacy related monitoring and assessment procedures for measuring impact at the field level. Build up the capacity of staff to increase their effectiveness and skills. Identify staff training needs, develop and implement staff development activities. Ensure timely and quality delivery of training to staff and other stakeholders. Major achievements: - Implement Decentralized Waste Water Treatment System at Peoples Colony of Khalishpur under Khulna City Corporation and prepared Video Documentary on DWATS functioning. - MoU prepared and signed with Khulna City Corporation and received 7200 square feet land form KCC to jointly implement Faecal Sludge Management system. - I was able to connect three individual water points for the sweeper community, those are connected with water meter and this was the first meter connection of Khulna WASA. Now sweeper communities feel proud to be engaged with other communities and service providers. Khulna WASA has been revised its citizen charter with the option of piped water connection for CBOs, now they are providing piped water connection to different CBOs. - I was able to connect different slums of Khulna city area with ongoing pipeline networking coverage of KWSP (Khulna Water Supply Project) which is implementing by ADB-JICA. After ending the project all slums area including railway slums will be coverage and dwellers will get piped water. - I was effectively engaged with PEHUP project strategy paper preparation of Water Aid Bangladesh. 4. Project Manager ( September 15, 2003 - March 05, 2011) SANGJOG (MLAA Partner) Company Location : Rajbari Department: Enhancing Local Justice System Duties/Responsibilities: Have to handle all types of Project Management including Communication, Planning, Training, Supervision, Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, Record Keeping and general corresponding with GO, NGO and Donor agencies. Liaison maintain with District Judiciary section, Legal Aid Committee and Executive section to establish Village Court and free legal support properly. Arranging exchange views on local justice system and governance, National legal aid services, legal awareness oriented workshop, seminar, and advocacy meeting with the participation of District legal Aid Committee members, District Commissioner , Chief Judicial Magistrate, SP, ADC, UNO, Physicians, Professors, Journalists, Lawyers, Community Leaders, CBO (Community Based Organization) Leaders, UP Chairman and Members being a resource person. Arranging mass campaigning and providing logistic support to implement Legal Aid Services Act, Village Court, ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution), & Arbitration council. Providing training on Village Court implementation procedure, ADR, Family law, Arbitration Council and PDR act to UP representatives and CBO members. Regularly observing and monitoring Village Court session to input necessary legal explanation according to VC act-2006. Facilitate cases and legal complains for dispute resolution by using ADR and Arbitration Council organized by UP and CBO leaders. Providing free Legal support for rural deprived community people

Providing logistic support for arranging conferences, workshops, advocacy meeting including liaison with conference venue and suppliers of goods and services. Sharing opinion with local elite, educational, cultural & social development institutions on human rights. Awareness creation on human rights through participatory approach with the participation of college, madrasha & school students. Observing different types of rally, seminar, national & internal day. Major achievements: - To provide legal aid to the litigants who are incapable of seeking justice due to financial insolvency, destitution, helplessness and for various socio-economic conditions, legal aid services act is an effective act to serve them. With regular coordination of District Judiciary sector Legal Aid Services Act were be more effectively used in Rajbari district. It was surveyed from Law Commission where it was identified and disseminated nationally that Rajbari is the top of other than districts in Bangladesh where Legal Aid Act was used 99% (Report will be provided if required) that helps to reduce case backlog in judicial sector. - Before 2003 the project implementing period community people including UP representatives of Rajbari district were not introduced with Village Court. They used to traditional mediation to conflict resolution. After implementing the project interventions with the assistance of district judiciary and administrative section UP representatives were realized on VC importance. Till then they are using VC to conflict resolution and District Judiciary department forwarding VC cases (which financial value are more than 25000) to specific village court Chairman for dispute resolution regularly. UNO are also receiving some certificate cases to implement verdict under PDR act. I was effectively engaged to establish VC in the project area, which was recognized among the stakeholders.
