1. October 2015- Present: Project Officer for Livelihood project at Culture and Environment Preservation
Association (CEPA), based in Stung Treng province.
I am planning, implementation and monitoring of key project activities of the project in close coordination
with different stakeholders and service providers. Lead to identify the needsand opportunities of skill based,
low investment demanding and environment friendly livelihood strategies, entrepreneurships and other
possible interventions to enhance resilience capacity of poor and vulnerable urban dwellers and
communities. Detail responsibilities as below:
Planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the project activities
Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly plans for effective execution of the project activities related
to livelihood approaches to disaster resilience as stipulated in the project document which includes
but not limited to skills, practicesand capacities, to manage resourcesand skills particularly of poor
and vulnerable, and institutional strengthening to increase the resilience of the target communities
to different hazards and disasters
Break-down and elaborate the project strategies to integrate into development to increase the
resilience of the communities
Plan activities and strategies at the sites on time for the target communities
Prepare monitoring plans and regularly monitor and review the technical and financial standards
and efficiency of field activities to ensure the activities result into expected outputs.
Mobilization and management of the resources
Manage and mobilize human, financial and material resourcesofthe project and assessthe resource
needs for the project activities in relation to assigned duties to my assistants
Manage and mobilize the available resources within the available limit for maximum results by
allocating and distributing them properly across the project activities in line with project document
Organize and mobilize externalresourcessuch asskills, labor, material and cashcontributions from
communities and other stakeholders where potential to best perform the project objectives
Coordination and communication
Establish close coordination and cooperation with district line agencies and authorities, between
local project partners,communities, project beneficiaries and other stakeholders at project level for
effective delivery of project activities and policy influence at local level
Communicate related information regularly to Project Coordinator, project staffs,project partners
and other relevant stakeholders
Maintain good relations with project beneficiaries, partners and stakeholders and monitor the
project implementation
Developing and strengthening networks of peers and professional contacts, within and outside the
project to achieve expected outcomes of his/her assigned responsibilities
Materialize on my own to follow up terms and conditions including communities, local authorities,
service providers, materials suppliers for achieving the objectives of the project timely with desired
quality
Management of the Project Activities
Identify, prioritize and support communities to implement potential livelihood strategies that are
less sensitive to existing and potential hazards and resilient to disasters
Design, develop and provide necessary training for target communities to develop skills and
capacities for natural resource management strategies and viable options for income.
Establish and strengthen saving and credits, emergency fund and other mechanisms in the
communities
2. Support communities and beneficiaries with necessary tools, kits and materials to initiate
enterprises as envisioned by the project plan.
Prepare periodic, technical reports of the assigned responsibility submit to the Project Coordinator,
and share them with other relevant entities such as project steering committee members as and
when necessary.
