2. WHY ARE STUDYING
PHYSIOTHERAPY?
My name is Carolina Arcila, I was
born of eight month and I have
right hemiparesis. I was on
therapy from baby and even
today, I steel going to therapy and
I have grown living with this
condition. I study Physiotherapy
because I want to help the people
with different disabilities and
understand their pains.
I study physiotherapy because I
think that is beautiful can see
how the most people with
disabilities, overcome their
difficulties with therapies step by
step, and I need to be part of
that.
3. DAHYANA GRAJALES CEBALLOS
• I study this career because this discipline is the viable alternative, medicine,
pain, pain, symptoms, pre and post operative, malformations and problems,
and also because it has always caught my attention. Any sense is what it is,
great satisfaction in me personally and professionally, it is a career in which it
is very common for your own boss and therefore, generates a good level of
income.
4. PLACES TO WORK
• the places indicated to
rehabilitate patients, is a large
place where it is possible to have
balls of all kinds, treadmills, stair
climbers, in some cases
swimming pools, large patio for
better development capacity in
therapies
5. REHABILITATION
• in physiotherapy there are many recovery
activities depending on the degree of difficulty of
the patient, such as a foot reconstruction
operation; it is walking, stretching as flexion and
extension, using an elastic band to strengthen the
muscle while the patient gently stretches the foot
up and down, also to strengthen teach the patient
to get up and stand on their heels for twenty
minutes, etc.
6. INTERESTS OF
PROFESSION
We want to learn to feel our patients.
Teach them to do their therapies so that
they can also do it at home and thus have a
faster recovery.
Its is important that our patients know that
physiotherapy must be daily.
