Video and visual branding
Target Audience
16 – 18-year-olds. Interested in music and moving towards the future
Rationale:
Having researched this audience we have determined what kind of project we can
make to appeal to this audience. We think it’s relevant, modern and will be a fun
endeavour to create and for the audience to enjoy. It falls in line with what the
audience likes, it will hopefully connect with them. We will incorporate elements to
hopefully do this.
Project Concept:
We will create content for a brand for a certain demographic, revolving around
music with the themes of the future and time. This content will range from short
documentary videos to longer more interesting videos. These videos will be fun,
engaging and modern. We will research into what audience likes and connects
with. This will help us further our understanding and make successful content that
will engage and entertain.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed:
We will be keeping weekly production diaries, which will detail how we are finding
the work, how we plan to improve and what we’ve learned. This process will help
us adapt and identify any issues and hopefully rectify them. This will help us get
into the habit of logging production diaries.

1 Visual Identity/Branding
Production
Research into the audience, find out as much as we
can about this audience. What they like, how they
change things.
2 Theme investigation We will continue with audience research as well as
figure out which theme we will link to the content
we will be making,
3 Content development and
planning
We now will start to develop our brand and how it
will look with logos and idents etc
4 Theme content production We will look closer into the theme and continue
with brand development
5 Theme content production Individually make the content
6 Evaluation Evaluate it through production diaries and a formal evaluation
document
7 Contingency Clean up anything that needs to be done
