5. INDUCTIVE COUPLING
 Primary and secondary coils are not connected
with wires.
 Energy is transferred due to mutual induction.

6. AIR IONIZATION
 Needed field is 2.11MV/m.
 Not feasible for practical implementation.

7. Microwave Power Transmission
Steps:
 Electrical energy to microwave energy.
 Capturing microwaves using antenna.
 Microwave to electrical energy.

8. ADVANTAGES
 Elimination of high power transmission lines.
 Reduction in cost because of not using expensive wires.
 It increases the portability of electrical devices as it removes
wires.
 Reduction in power losses.

9. DISADVANTAGES
 Interference with existing communication systems.
 To much expensive for bigger scale implementation.
 Microwaves hazardous to human life.
