2. Process
To make my animation, I began with
making my green ball. This involved using
the pencil tool to create the outline and fill
the ball with colour. I then used the paint
bucket tool to create the background. I
chose to use this tool as it was the mots
effective way to fill the background with
the colour I wanted. After the design was
completed, I used the tween tool to make
the ball bounce as this works very
effectively as you don’t have to add every
new frame manually. I also changed the
frame speed to make the ball bounce
quicker than it was originally set and then
to make the ball bounce slower at the end.
This was to make the gif look more realistic
as the ball wont bounce as high or quick on
its second bounce.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
In my final product, I will use the tween tool as it is a very effective method
to animate movement. It also works well as it creates a clean and even
movement therefore making the game look as professional as possible. As
well as that, I will include the shape tool as it allows you to automatically
create shapes without having to do it manually. This saves time and allows
you to create an accurate representation of the shape you want. The pain
tool is also very efficient as you can fill large specific places with colour and
saves you from the worry of putting the wrong colour on the wrong area
meaning you have more time to spend on more important features of the
game.
4. Process
To make my second process, I made
my background by using shift to make
straight lines more efficiently. This
saves time and also prevents mistakes
from being made. To make the slot
machine actual spin, I made 3 large
strips with numbers evenly spaced out
on each and then when the slot
needed moving, move each strip
down. Because, the strips were so
long, this made the illusion of a slot
machine moving. To make the credits
and score numbers flash, I simply
added a from with them on and then
on the next frame hid them from sight
by making them hidden on the layers.

• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
In my final product, I will use the shift key to draw lines. This is because it
is a very efficient method as it I prevents mistakes ad saves a lot of time as
you don have to draw the line manually. As well as that, I will use the
hidden layers features as you can use this to make layers hidden from the
viewer. This allows you to make things flash and allow different layers to
walk therefore making it very useful. I may alos include the vibrancy of my
second process as I stands out and allows catches the eye therefore
making it very hard to lose attention.
