My passion is SHEQ (Safety Health Environment and Quality).
I have 5 years SHEQ related experience, and in my personal career path I have found
that it is extremely important to completely understand how Occupational Safety,
Health, Environment and Quality requirements are intertwined but also stand alone, to
effectively implement a working and understandable SHEQ system on any project
and/or company.
Projects I have had the opportunity to be part of are, Eskom projects such as Medupi
Power Station, Kusile Power Station and the Eskom Solar geysers project. I was also
a member of a team on the implementation and Accreditation of ISO 9001 Quality
systems for Eskom South Africa. A demolition project my company (Teheka
Trading) embarked on for MTN; the project was finished in time and without any
incidents or accidents; as well as the demolition project of the Imax Theatre at
Menlyn Mall.
When 3 Diamond mines in Potchefstroom were closed by the DMR I was called in as
a consultant to establish a Safety System and in the time limit given by the DMR they
were reopened and one was given a certificate for their SHE System.
Being very passionate about SHEQ I established a consulting company to assist
organizations in establishing a Safety recognized culture for any industry.

the Power Station. In my position as SHEQ practitioner I ensure ISO 9001 and Client
Standards are met at all times. In several Quality Audits conducted by the Client,
