sourcing, cost analysis, product development and production of a $25M multi-brand, collection
based children’s sportswear.
 Responsible for all products details, quality and execution of production for seasonal designed
lines
 Conduct review meetings with design counterpartsto ensure tech pack accuracy prior to
sending overseas
 Set up and maintain seasonal costing charts
 Provided target pricing as well as negotiating prices with factories to achieve desired profit
margin at the style level as well as overall
 Work with merchandising to review selling prices
 Daily communication with overseas/domestic offices to develop product through production
 Close follow up of key seasonal dates such as proto, fabric and artwork approvals to ensure
photo and sales samples calendar dates are met
 Issuing purchase ordersdirected by merchandising and responsible for negotiating deliveries
and tracking orders.
Office Manager/Design Coordinator - July 2007- September 2012 - Designs byBrenda, Collegeville,
PA
Led operational and administrative functions as well as provided design support to the Director of
Design. Proactively uncovered improvement opportunities and approached business challenges
openly and creatively to arriveat quick, efficient resolutions.
 Responsible for all office functions including account reconciliation, accountspayable,
accounts receivable and placing orders
 Assist in space planning, color selection, fabric and window treatment design

brands while securing new fabric qualities for design inspiration prior to line development. Projected

managed material annual buy for all brands and divisions. Provided allocationsto suppliers, followed
up with shipments to factories and confirmed quality requirements.

Led the production teamin manufacturing operations in 6 countries across multiple facilities,
negotiating cost to meet desired company goals. Responsible for diversifying sourcing by meeting
with new factories, setting up cost comparisons and test orders. Set up seasonal cost sheets/analysis
to review with merchandising and presented alternative solutions, to meet margin goals.
Communicated daily with overseas/domestic offices to help trouble shoot daily production issues.
 Managed multiple country costing for cut and sew garments in all Hartstrings Divisions focused
on margin
 Ensure timely development of garments fromprotos to samples and production, making sure
