2. • Currently, the societies have new issues that affect the
protection of the persons. The human rights are
obligations that all governments need to establishing laws
and observance these laws permanently.
• The basic rights as live, education, job, and access to
medical attention are examples of human rights.

our human rights
• Abortion
• Immigration
• Pollution – water
• Euthanasia
4. Abortion
• The abortion is a silent problem that increases and results
almost impossible obtain a control of this problem, if the
woman or someone not denounces the authorities
unknown the case.
• Many teenagers are practicing sex without protection and
the risks are pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases.
5. Abortion
• The way for reduce these problems are communication
from parents to teenagers. Also, the professors need to
explain some risks of the sex without protection. The
abortion could leave you to die. In Panama, the criminal
law establishes prison to 2 until 6 years for persons that
practice abortion
6. Immigration
• It is part of the human, for different reasons the people decide
abandon their family, countryside or country and they are
searching new and good opportunities to live.
• This decision is part of the history, but recently this problem is
affecting our country with Cuban, African, Asian and other
citizens that are coming to American continent include our
country with the hope to arrive to United States of America,
they are following their American dreams. Unfortunately, our
country has not a plan for process these cases quickly. While,
some countries want not more immigrants on their territory and
the people are living in bad conditions.
7. Immigration
• As a principle of human rights we must be solidary with
other. The governments have a hard job to take a decision
about it.
8. Water
• This mineral is considered as the new gold, the
environment is claiming us for the pollution, to cut the
trees along the rivers, for fires, etc.
• Panama has a crisis about the water; the important rivers
have reduced the levels or are drying completely, the
animals are died include our foods are not growing. Some
farmers are losing their animals or farms because they
have not an irrigation system.
• Each one need to create some ideas for reduces the use of
the water also the government need to make some politics
and plans for help us. This job is for us, each one can to
reduce the use of water, plating or reforest the areas
affected.
9. Euthanasia
• This is the right to decide with dignity; basically this
decision can be taken for the self-patient or their family.
• The patient has a sickness on final phase and it´s late for
the treatment or teraphy.
• The patient has no improvement with medicine.
10. Euthanasia
• In Colombia, a grandfather asked to the authorities the
permission to die with dignity because he has a skin
cancer and he was suffered too much. The authorities
checked the case and approved his petition.
• The euthanasia is recognized in Europe.
• In Panama, we have not a law about it, but I consider that
our deputies need establish this law.
