Setting

In this scene Kratos is captured by the furies from trying to break his blood oath
with the gods in result to this he is chained up and tortured for his crimes.

The music is very dull in this scene as it is
showing the hopelessness Kratos has for
escaping the furies prison.
Mood
(0:04:50 – 0:05:30)
Kratos starts to escape his shackles and begins to attack one of the furies who was
torturing him and foolishly she knocks one of his blades loose causing him to gain
a foothold in the fight. So the mood starts to get dramatic
The music pace starts to increase and begins to
get more dramatic as Kratos starts to break from
his prison and starts attacking the fury who is
torturing him.
Game genre
(0:11:10 – 0:13:10)
In this scene you see the true nature of the game as Kratos fights the giant
hetonchires who mutates and attacks him and starts to dismantle the platform on
which Kratos stands on.
The music affects the mood of this scene greatly
as Kratos fights a huge creature which resulted in
the music becoming more dramatic.
Narrative
(0:13:35 In this part we find Kratos into what looks like his home in Sparta and finds
mysterious man who explains that his visions are an illusion and that he must find
his freedom by killing the Furies who bind him to do the bidding of the gods.
The music is only faintly heard throughout this
scene as it plainly shows that it focusing more on
the story relayed out in front of you.
