soundtrack elements
There is near to no music played in this scene
only acoustic played at the beginning when we
first see Russell.
Setting
(0:16:04 – 0:16:39)
At this scene of the video we follow another main character called Russell who is
shown walking alongside a long road and him complaining how he shouldn’t have
brought so many cans which indicates that he has just left from somewhere.
Mood
(0:22:10 – 0:22:50)
The mood in this scene is very tense as the man who gives Russell a ride starts to
accelerate in speed then brakes, he then opens the window letting a zombie grab
Russell saying that he wants a rating for how good looking the girl zombie used to
be.
The music emits from the radio which then
drowns at most of the other sounds playing in
this scene.
Game genre
(0:23:41 – 0:24:41)
This it is a zombie survival game as the music is very tense as Russell has an
encounter with survivor who is shooting at both him and the man who gave him a
lift.
(0:28:57 –
When Nate and Russell find a way into the building they realise that the shooter
was a delusional old man who thinks that they are both monsters. This scene is
very tense as Nate wants to kill the old man and his wife.
The music is very dramatic which intertwines
with the scenes situation as they are figuring out
a way to deal with the survivor who is shooting
at them
The music is very tense as both Nate and Russell
deal with the old man and his wife, but Russell
doesn’t want to hurt them so he walks away but
to only hear gunshots in the distance.
