In this scene Zeus calls out from the Olympus offering a weapon to help kill the
Gold statue that Kratos fights, Kratos suspects something to be attached to his gift
that has been offered but blindly accepts none the less.
(0:07:25 – 0:08:30)
In this part Kratos is betrayed by Zeus and killed with the Blade of Olympus in
which put all of his godly power into so the mood is very miserable and shocking
as the god killer Kratos is killed

The music is very god – like as the blade of
Olympus has fallen from the heavens to aid
Kratos so it is showing powerful the sword is.
The music is very dull as Kratos has just been
stabbed so the music matches the scene.

In this following scene Kratos is reunited with his old enemy the Barbarian King
who slain with the blades chaos and which damned him to eternal torture from
the gods. This shows that in this fight that it is a hack and slash as he fights the
king.
The music is very serious with the scene it is
attached to as Kratos fights his old enemy that
began his nightmare.
Narrative

In this scene Kratos finds the mad Icarus who explains to him that it is his test to
reach the sisters of fate and began rant on about him being worthy only to later
be thrown back into the underworld on which he just escaped from.
The music is only faint as it gives time for Icarus
to explain that Kratos will die on his journey.
