We chose the location to be an abandoned farm house
in a field which is the typical place for teenagers to
want to explore. This makes the setting exciting for the
audience and will make them want to carry on
watching. However this setting isn’t totally unrealistic
so the film keeps its sense of realism but still can create
an uncomfortable feeling for
the audience because of the
lonely atmosphere.

3. Mystery
The sense of enigma pulls people in because it makes
them want to find out more. The questions raised are:
who is the killer? Why has Stephen been killed? And
why does he want to kill Lewis? The idea of making
Lewis involuntarily track the killer counters the
stereotype that its usually the killer tracking the victim
which adds to tension as well
as the sense of mystery.

4. Character
I feel the characters are appropriate for the target
audience because it allows them to relate to their story
and what they are doing. Being 16, male and hanging
out in abandoned farm houses they can easily and
instantly connect with the intended audience because
it makes the story seem real as it is something that age
might get up to.
