• My results show that most
people who are taking my survey
are 17 or younger. This can
suggest my answers will be
influenced more by the younger
generation than the older.

than males/other. This will

My results show that more people are aware of Kerrang!
Magazine than any other magazine. This could make my
magazine more of a rock magazine as that is what people
like.
5. Interest in the design of
the music magazine.
• My results show that people are
mostly interested in eye catching
images on the cover, the vibrant
colours that feature on the
magazine. But I should make the
cover a simple design as well as
some people like minimalism on
covers.(from my results)
6. What changes would most improve music
magazine covers?
• The people who have taken
my survey have said they
would change the title texts
on the cover as they feel there
is too much info on the cover.
They would also like brighter
colours with some key
features and some important
headlines but to keep the
cover simple as well. This is
what I will try to do on my
magazine.
7. What music magazine genre interests you the
most?
• It was a close vote for what the
people like when the buy magazines,
but the people mostly like rock
magazines. Despite this I think in my
music magazine I will involve rock but
I will also involve a little bit of
pop/RnB as the ‘mix of all the above’
was close in the votes.
8. What is your first reaction to these
magazines?
• From these results I now
know that the people like
the genre orientated
magazine that they have
read and find the magazines
‘somewhat positive’. I will
try to make my magazine
similar to these magazines
as people like them but I will
also try to make it original.
9. What content appeals to you the most in a
music magazine?
• The results from the survey show
that people like interviews the
most in a music magazine. I will
feature a lot of interviews in my
magazine so it will appeal to my
reader, but I will still have other
features in my magazine so it will
have variety.

most familiar with?
• These results show that
Kerrang! is the magazine
people are most familiar
with(who took my survey). This
means I might try to create a
magazine that might take after
Kerrang! e.g. the font, the
colours etc. but I will also try to
make it original as well.
11. Which artists would you like to feature on the
cover?
• These results show that it
is a 4 way tie between
Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Sia
and Ed Sheeran. Because
of these results I might
pick on of these famous
people to be on the cover.
These results also show
that the people prefer
solo artists rather than
groups, which I might into
consideration.
