The City of Lebanon held a public informational meeting on May 27, 2014 to discuss potential improvements to Mechanic Street. The meeting presented alternatives for segments A and B of Mechanic Street and intersections at Slayton Hill Road and High Street. Attendees were asked for input on options including the number of lanes, inclusion of multi-use paths or sidewalks, and intersection designs. The project team outlined the engineering study, permitting process, and anticipated schedule, with final design and phase 1 construction planned for 2015-2016.
