I received sales refresher training as well as customer service training in a call center environment.
The training is a tier program which means each level(tier) that you complete, you move up to the
next tier with more responsibilities and more daily goals.

I went up to senior management tier II. Daily responsibilities included "scouting"
(bringing in and training new people, Hitting a daily quota, Working overtime and nighttime to
ensure all offices duties done for the day, planning for the next day's activities.
Reward programs for the new trainees. Maintaining office decor and positivity,
Maintaining merchandise for all new people.

Responsibilities
I was responsible for temperature logs, greeting clients at the door with a positive
attitude, Taking temperature of incoming samples, checking the ph level(where
applicable), Logging in samples under three very different systems, IH(Industrial
Hygiene), ENV(Environmental) and SEEDPAK. Checking turn around time for priority samples,
informing different departments of any priority samples, recording any abnormalities within the
samples received (sample rec'd frozen etc) disposing of any samples held longer than 90 days,
calling/emailing clients to inform them of any paperwork rec'd incomplete or certain information
missing, (also had to document) giving clients media when they requested, being careful to check
all incoming packages for samples and to make sure all appropriate paperwork (COC) were filled
out correctly and completely, cleaned work space daily, answered phones and referred clients to
correct personnel, sent reports to clients, via email, fax and US MAIL.
Accomplishments
I had an idea early on to centralize all outgoing communications with clients to put them all in one
location where everyone would have access to it and in case one person who communicated with a
client yesterday was unavailable, anyone else could easily read the email and continue
communication with the client. This was put into practice the second month I was there and still
continues to this day.
