Responsibilities & Achievement:
- Project Management, Lead teams for CPD & LP development and innovation projects, and track the
progress of the ongoing projects; Ensure the quality of weekly reports, final reports, as well as the quality
of all delivered compounds to meet the quality requirements;
- Team management, provide scientific leadership and guidance to team members and coach/train team
members to improve their scientific capability. Set clear objectives for team decision making of the
management team; Motivate team members by promoting the company culture, team-building, proper
career and performance management.
- To coordinate and organize project team meetings. Responsible for the communication with management
and global lab, and ensure all issues and concerns be reported properly according company guideline;
- Attend monthly meeting with CPD DMI and LP DMI. Responsible for the projects’ updates, situation
discussion and sales of innovation projects to MKG.
- Prepare the document and data for monthly pre-dev meeting with top managers, to get fast and effective
feedback, and optimize and correct the innovation direction.
- Make the budget control at the begin of the year, to optimize the plan for lab equipment purchasing and
qualitative and quantitative consumer tests.
Project Experience
Innovation projects
- Black oil, Lead the teams for the innovation of Black oil G1, which was already launched successfully in
the US and India, and got 80,000,000 Euro sales in India. The innovation of Black oil G2 has been
finished and gotten positive result in qualitative and quantitative consumer test, now is scheduling the
launch plan with MKG. The innovation of Black oil G3 was already start and gotten some progress.
- BSW progressive coloration, BSW project is the top 1 project in global hair coloration métier, and was
nominated as creative innovation reward candidate twice by global SPB committee in 2015 and 2016.
2. This is a transparent project which need global multi departments’ collaboration, thanks to the
collaboration with French Advance research department, we already got the first success in early clinical
test. About the consumers’ feedback poor color uptake, team worked on the solutions and already got
big breakthrough. Now team is planning to sale the technology to MKG and finish the registration before
mid of 2017.
- ODS dark base, imported the technology successfully and optimize the technology to resolve the
problem that lifting power of global technology is not enough on Chinese dark hair. Now the feedback
from qualitative consumer test and quantitative consumer test were very positive. The technology has
been used for the shade development of CPD and PPD projects. And it was also introduced into other
countries, Japan and India.
Development projects
- CPD projects, 65 formulas were developed and tested by the team, which include Prodigy 16 shades
were already registered will be launched in January 2018. And 4 shades of EXC Black Legend have been
launched in South Asia in November 2015 and will be launched in March 2017. And 14 shades of EXC
DT have been launched in China and South Asia in September 2016. The test of 31 formulas of
COLORISTA series have been done in China, the launch plan will be in mid of 2018.
- LP projects, 26 formulas were developed by the team, and another 12 formulas are in progress. Which
include 8 shades of INOA Pastel were already launched in October 2016, and 6 formulas of MAJIREL
Vibrant will be launched in July 2017, and 12 formulas of INOA Fashion Brown will be launched at the
begin of 2018. And for the development of 12 formulas of INOA Beige & Blue will be finished in March
2017 and plan to be launched before the end of 2018.
The other company projects
- Attend some other company daily activities and projects, such as the committee member of phase V
movement, the building of weighing room for CN coloration team and the committee member of lab
quality team.
2004.03-2011.10 Shanghai Hutchison Whitecat company
Responsibilities & Achievement:
- To take in charge of formula development of fruit cleanser, dishwashing, kitchen washing, shower gel,
skin care lotion and natural hair coloration in the lab.
- Coordinate with OEM factory to align the production of the formulas such as shower gel and skin care
lotion.
- Develop some small workshop experiments to evaluate the product performance, and get the report from
the third party, in order to support the marketing claim.
- To communicate with our RM's supplier to get the new RMs which are key for some innovation projects,
and write the enterprise standard for these new RMs to make sure the product quality.

3. - To take in charge of research of natural hair coloration, and optimize the formulas to get good color
uptake.
- Develop hand care dishwashing and deodorization dishwashing, and propose the small workshop
experiments to show the performance of deodorization dishwashing which lead a big success.
- Develop a new fruit cleanser which can meet the requirements to new pesticide removing national
standard.
- Propose and develop successfully a kitchen cleaning product to the MKG, and was already launched on
the market.
- Provide the formulas support of shower gel and skin care lotion to OEM factory for Hutchison Watson
convenience store.
