PROFILE
I have a BSc Hons in Food Technology, with 13 years experience at Diageo plc working in
Innovation Research & Development (New Product Development), leading the development of
many commercially successful projects. I have a deep knowledge of formulated products across
categories and brands in Africa and Europe. Liquids require minimal commercialisation due to
my thoroughness, technical understanding of ingredients and supply processes, marketing,
consumer insights, legislation, finance, and procurement. This enables me to challenge and
support cross-functional teams.
I am passionate about innovation and have creative flair developing new ideas within a
company’s remit. Innovative thinking coupled with persistence, anticipating challenges and
taking calculated risks means I tackle and resolve issues. I create strong conditions for team
work building close working relationships by engaging individuals, understanding their
motivations and values and flexing my own coaching style to deliver the most powerful outcome.
