Population comprised of patients with medical, neurovascular,
and cardiac disease processes as well as post-operative
patients. Experience includes Swan-Ganz catheters and
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump therapy (IABP).

monitoring of acutely ill patients. Experience with post-surgical,

UNC Memorial Hospital
803 bed Level I academic teaching facility. Wide variety of cases,
including robotic, laparoscopic, GYN, burn, and extensive
microvascular reanastamosis surgical procedures.
Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital
Naval Hospital providing service to active duty Marines, retirees,
and their families. OB rotation with extensive spinal and epidural
placement opportunities. Highly independent and demanding
teaching environment.
VA- Asheville
VA hospital providing service to veterans in Western NC, Eastern
TN, and Northern SC.. Regional rotation with opportunity to
practice variety of blocks including brachial plexus, lumbar
plexus, femoral, popliteal, and saphenous nerve blocks.
