Objective:
With twelve years working in different disciplines within the medical field, two of which have been training
at the only Ivy League Nurse Anesthesia program in the nation, I bring insight from my past experience. I
also leave behind a trail of colleagues that will testify of my exceptional work ethic, integrity, discipline,
intelligence and sure passion for the medical field. My objective is to find an institution or anesthesia
practice that shares similar values that is in need of another team player.
Qualifications Include:
! Performing and documenting a preanesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient of all age ranges,
including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, and administering
preanesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.
! Developing and implementing an anesthetic plan.
! Initiating the anesthetic technique, which may include: general, regional, local, and sedation.
! Selecting, applying, and inserting appropriate noninvasive and invasive monitoring modalities for
continuous evaluation of the patient’s physical status.
! Selecting and administering the anesthetics, accessory drugs, and fluids necessary to manage the anesthetic.
! Managing a patient’s airway and pulmonary status using current practice modalities.
! Facilitating emergence and recovery from anesthesia by selecting, obtaining, ordering, and administering
medications, fluids, and ventilatory support.
! Discharging the patient from a postanesthesia care area and providing postanesthesia follow-up evaluation
and care.
! Implementing acute and chronic pain management modalities in and outside of the hospital.
! Responding to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids
and drugs, and using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques

" Anesthesia training and work experience includes but is not limited to: using and placing hemodynamic
monitoring, using different ventilators and modes of ventilation, ultrasonography, vasopressors, inotropes,
chronotropes, sedatives, analgesics, hypnotics, locals, placement of peripheral nerve blocks, neuroaxial
blocks, management of patents under general, regional, local, and sedation anesthesia, pain management,
preoperative and postoperative assessments, labs and studies interpretation, airway management.
2. Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (BSN-RN) June ’09-May ‘11
" Primary Children’s NICU acts primarily as a referral center for the surrounding five states providing life
saving care for a complex newborn population consisting of 1/3 Surgical, 1/3 Cardiovascular and 1/3
Premature births and birth complications that are in need of a level III NICU due to patient acuity.
Surgical First Assist/ Surgical Technician 2005-2009
" Assist a General surgeon in providing surgical services to the underserved communities of Delta and
Fillmore, Utah.
" Assist and anticipate the needs of Orthopedic, General, ENT, and GYN surgeons with complex surgical
procedures while properly maintaining the sterile field.
