 Provide comprehensive medical and emotional care to critically ill patients with varying
diagnoses such as Ischemic and Hemorrhagic stroke, Brain Tumor, Spinal cord injuries,
Traumatic brain injuries, Myasthenia Gravis, Guillain-Barre, Seizure disorder, etc.
 Assess,monitor, and treat ICU patients. Develop patient care plans. Act as patient advocate and
implement total patient care for one to two high acuity patients.
 Serve as a leader and a resource to nursing staff and other health care professionals to provide
continuous quality care. Act as a preceptor and support the development of other staff and team
personnel.
 Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members in planning for patient care
such as PT/OT/SLP.
 Member of the Medical Emergency Team to respond to Code Blue, Stroke alert, and Swat
throughout the facility.
 Served on hospital-wide committees to improve patient safety and care by implementing and/or
changing policies and procedures based on evidence based practices,and compliance with
JHACO.

the physiology of the donor to ensure maximum availability of organs for transplantation.
