I am registered nurse with thirty-nine years of experience in many fields of nursing. I’ve had
positive feedback in evaluating and caring for patients in the hospital setting. I have attended to
a variety of patients, from newborns to geriatric patients with appreciative comments from the
patients. In my most recent performance review, I was recognized “for excellent communication
skills with a variety of patients, with the ability to calm anxious parents and identify critical
family dynamics when caring for the elderly.”
I developed, own, and run my own international website for the advancement and education of
nursing. (www.justusnurses.com) I have twice been nominated for Tennessee Nurse of the Year.
I graduated in 2015 with an MSN as an FNP from Austin Peay State University. I’m certified in
CPR, BLS and ACLS. My nursing license with the state of Tennessee is current. I anticipate
passing the AANP FNP boards for certification in July 2015.
I would like to work full-time but on a PRN basis for Walgreens Take-Care Clinics. I understand
being PRN does not guarantee me full-time hours and that is not an issue for me.
I look forward to a more specific discussion about how my experience can contribute to
Walgreens Take Care Clinics. I can be reached at (615) 818-6637 or j.lugten-hysler@att.net.
I will be out of the country from May 16th through May 24th. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Joanna Hysler, MSN, APRN, FNP(c)
