Mobile Phone Market-
The cell phone isanin an informationappliance thathasbeenwidelyused.Itprovidesinstantaccessto
informationandmake peoplemore ‘connected‘It consistof multiplefeatureswhichare fanciedbythe
usersall roundthe globe .thusthe cell phone isn’tjustameanof communicationbutalsoa meanof
entertainmentandfunforpeople.
The objective of ourstudyis to identifythe mostimportantdesignfeatures andtoinvestigate the
relationshipamongthe designfeatures.Inour surveystudy,we surveyed100 college students,usinga
7 pointlikertscale structured questionnairetoevaluate theirpreferenceof the designfeaturesand
overall satisfactionof theircurrentcell phone .
The analysispart will consistedof calculationof meanandstandarddeviationof neachdesignfeatures
are mostand leastdesiredbythe users.aafterthisstepthe inter-correlationmatrix methodwasused
to evaluate the relationshipbetweendesignfeaturesandatlast , the calculationof multiple regression
to evaluate usersoverallsatisfactionwithdesignfeatures.
The global cellularphone marketnowstandsatapprox.1.8Billionsubscribers,andisforecastedto
reach 3 billions,bywhichtime nearlyhalf of all humanbeingsonthe planetare expectedtoownan
usercell phone (Reid donna J and ReidFraserJ.M,2007). Moreover,people use the embeddedcell
phone featuressuchasgames
