1. I selected this vignette background specifically because
it was bland, I intended the imagery to be the main
focus point of the cover.
2. This red stripe was added to
break up the predominantly
black colour scheme as well as
to better emulate traditional
heraldic crests
In keeping with my new motifs I
selected ancient heraldic imagery, the
empty crest and the battle axes to
represent the ancient times.
This image of a boxer dogs
silhouette I selected because it’s
minimalist style is very eye
catching, simplistic but loud.
Also, the visage of this particular
breed of dog is decidedly
masculine.
3. I decided to remove the banner
since I felt it detracted from the
overall image.
4. I changed the background because I felt
this one better represented the ancient
heraldic tapestries
