Interactive Digital/Traditional Direct Response Packages
One of the most important keys to success in marketing is to create a campaign that uses "involvement devices" to engage the individual
target prospect. There is a real art form to doing this effectively. In the example shown here created for a rapidly-emerging New York
property marketing group, an interactive direct mail package was developed that had a lot of "moving parts" - each of which played off
the other parts in an interesting and unified fashion to coalesce and repeat the key marketing messages. By creating these "moving parts"
the recipient tends to find the package very involving and in the course of interacting with it the marketing message is conveyed. The
campaign shown here also included a variety of online elements including a direct response video streaming from the client site in a high-
def dvd-quality version. In creating a campaign like this, one of the most important elements is the "voice" you create. This is all about the
writing - and truly great writing is becoming increasingly rare. It has to be real and it has to communicate directly to the prospect as if they
were sitting across the kitchen table having a conversation with you - just as these words are talking to you now. If you can do that - the

With 95% of the North American public now owning
mobile smartphones, the transition to mobile platforms
is an issue that all companies and organizations need
to address. But doing that is tremendously complex.
Not only is there the complexity of converting existing
web applications such as traditional websites to mobile
platforms but there is also the enormous challenge of
how you break through the clutter of hundreds of
thousands of mobile apps and the more than one
trillion url's now in existance.
As an Authorized Developer for apple, Blackberry and Google/droid whose most recent release is a social relationship app called The
Compatometer Instant Compatibility Calculator we have faced these challenges first hand.
The solution we developed was to create a multi channel powerhouse marketing program combining the best aspects of social media
marketing (facebook, twitter, online affiliates, social networking, etc.) to tested-and-proven traditional marketing approaches such as
conducting an ongoing major media relations campaign to such media as The London Sunday Times, New York Times, major U.S. market dailies,
to magazines ranging from Cosmopolitan to Seventeen, to broadcast media such as The Today Show and Oprah, to regional radio drive time
programs.
The reason we take this approach is because most companies and individuals think all they have to do is create a mobile app and the market
will beat a path to its door. Everyone thinks their app is going to go instantly viral which is the Holy Grail of online marketing. But the only way that
is going to happen is if you make it happen. The result is that, most of the many thousands of smartphone apps sit in the apps stores completely
unnoticed and the more than one-trillion url's remain buried in the e-haystack.
This is why we take the approach of combining all marketing channels and activities into a comprehensive continuous global marketing
campaign. It's an enormous amount of work and it takes a huge amount of brainpower and consummate marketing and creative skills - but it is
the only way to go if you want to be successful.
The mobile revolution is one of the most interesting phenomena in the history of communications but there is nothing easy about it and the main
ingredients required of any company hoping to stand a chance of success are patience, persistence and massive marketing knowhow.

There is a real art form to doing this effectively. In the example shown here created for a rapidly-emerging New York property marketing group, an interactive direct mail package was developed that had a lot of "moving parts" - each of which played off the other parts in an interesting and unified fashion to coalesce and repeat the key marketing messages.
