2.  Title – The Deathstones

3.  The genre of my production will be science
fiction with a hybrid genre of action
adventure.
 The runtime of this production will be 2
minutes in length.

4.  I plan to make a scene from a movie about a group of resistance
fighters from the future who steal very powerful crystals from
invading alien race, who go back in time with these stones and
plan to use them to stop the invaders from conquering Earth, but
the aliens follow them. In this scene, the resistance crash-land
on an alien world and are chased by alien scouts.
 My story will contain a panning shot of a crashing spaceship
landing on an alien world.
 I must include at least one special effect and at least 3 visual
effects in the scene. I plan to do this by having models of the
spaceship for the special effect as well as makeup for alien skin
and blood, and I also plan to use 3-D Graphics for the laser shots
and explosions that will appear a lot throughout this scene, and
morphing for the aliens transforming from their human disguises
back to their original forms. And a greenscreen of space and
earth.
 To achieve this, I must learn how to use make-up, I must also
learn how to build a good spaceship model and make a realistic
greenscreen.

5.  I think my product will appeal to both genders, this is because it
has a female protagonist, however, most science fiction films are
aimed at mainly a male audience.
 The target audience for my production will be 12 – 40. Although
star wars had (primarily men between the ages of 18 and 49,
with an average age of 34)
 I don’t think it is too important to have any culturally diverse
characters in this scene, and won’t target any nationality in
particular, it appeals to all.
 The main class I think will watch my production is the working
class I think this because this class is the target class of all three
inspirations of my scene, Doctor Who, Star Trek and Star Wars.
 The hobbies and interests of the audience will most likely love
video games etc. The audience may love to collect merchandise
of their favourite movies and TV shows.
 My movie may produce some merchandise but since it is not a big
franchise like Star Wars so it may be at a disadvantage there, but
our spaceships will be big and appealing and with our unique
aliens it may get a lot of profit.
