I am a specialty physician working as a member of a group of anesthesiologists in the West
Denver area. I have held positions involving leadership and quality assurance within both our
physician group and the hospital medical staff. I am interested in making a career change and
am looking for a position where I can utilize my education and the skills I have acquired through
experience in order to help an organization or company achieve their goals.
Professional Experience
Department of Anesthesia Chairman: Responsible for maintaining a cooperative working
relationship among the members of the Department. Responsible for assuring that all physicians
complied with Department guidelines regarding patient care through chart audits and case
reviews. Maintained Department continuing medical education program. Interacted with other
Department chairmen (Surgery, Medicine, etc.) to ensure cooperation and understanding of
standards of patient care, risk assessment and management, and scheduling issues.
Medical Executive Committee: Served as a member of hospital committee responsible for
maintaining a positive working relationship between the Medical Staff and the hospital
administration. Served with the committee chairman on the Bylaws review subcommittee.
Quality Assurance Committee: Responsible for the review of hospital and Medical Staff policies
regarding patient safety. Reviewed cases of medical complications and patient injury through
chart reviews and interviews, and took corrective and/or educational action when appropriate.
Other Experience
Founding board member of Uplift International, an organization that provides medical care to
indigent people in the Philippines. Participated in a medical mission to the island of Leyte, and
worked with a local Rotary Club to ship supplies and equipment to a hospital on Leyte.
