AREAS OF EXPERTISE

operational readiness. Developed a direct feedback loop procedure that allowed personnel at all

Maintenance: Fifteen years experience as manager of preventive maintenance programs. Planned and
executed over 30 aggressive maintenance plans on complex mechanical and fluid systems on board three
nuclear submarines. Directed maintenance and upkeep of mechanical systems including over 100
detailed preventive maintenance items.
Technical Expertise: Conducted over 15 Operational Control Inspections of vital submarine systems
using specific in-depth knowledge of fluid and mechanical systems to identify and correct hundreds of
deficiencies; resulting in over $9 million savings on maintenance cost to the Navy. Designated expert
on Quality Assurance on closed loop systems.
Training Specialist: Five years of experience of delivering instruction through multiple methods of
instruction. This includes facilitation, Lab and Instructor led. Developed instructional material with
curriculum development software AIM 1 and 2. Earned certification as a Master Training Specialist
from Naval Education and Training Command.
