● Conducted mishap investigations, improving operating procedures and overall safety of personnel and
equipment.

● Coordinated, planned and monitored the progress of over 200 job orders ensuring quality control
standards were met by Ships Repair Facilities.
Leadership
● Qualified to operate three different classes of ships, in the absence of the Commanding Officer,
overseeing engineering operations, operations, combat, and weapons systems.
● Supervised and lead 6-20 personnel daily in ship board operations, qualifications and advancement
requirements, resulting in a 75% advancement rating.
● Coordinated, developed and trained personnel in weapons familiarization, tactical movements, rules of
engagement, use of force and the employment of non-lethal weapons.
● Became Force Protection Training Team Leader/Manager, organizing and leading security reaction
drills for three teams of 50 members, decreasing response times in under five minutes, and increasing
readiness resulting in zero security breaches and early certification.
● Directed two boat crews in waterborne surveillance, counterintelligence and deterrence.
Security / Training
● Assembled vigorous training and record keeping procedures, maintaining 100% training requirements
for all shipboard personnel.
● Evaluated security teams in physical security, arrest and apprehension, tactical team movements, team
building and teamwork.
● Became Non-Lethal Weapons instructor, training over 500 personnel in close range subject control,
proper employment of non-lethal weapons, and certification in Oleoresin Capsicum (pepper spray) with
