Events Intern
• Assisted in the planning, management, and marketing of events including concerts, high school and college graduations, high
school football games, band competitions, press conferences, charitable dinners, National Football League games, the
Inaugural Quick Lane Bowl and all events associated with the bowl game.
• NFL game day duties included managing the set-up and tear-down of the pre-game ‘Pride Plaza on Brush Street’ tailgate,
handling incoming calls to the operations center while relaying information to the necessary recipients, and assisting in a
variety of on- and off-field pre and post-game activities.
• Participated on a ‘Detroit Lions Courage House’ charitable dinner committee by assisting sponsorship retrieval, handling
sponsor logo creative for signage, inviting Detroit Lions active and alumni players and managed day-of-dinner operations.
• Managed social media outlets for Ford Field and the Quick Lane Bowl including the Ford Field and Quick Lane Bowl Facebook
page as well as the Quick Lane Bowl Instagram and Twitter accounts while engaging and increasing the number of fans
through ticket giveaways, behind the scenes content and event information.
• Assisted in the development and management of ancillary events and game day promotions and operations for the 2014
inaugural Quick Lane Bowl as well as the development and integration of the Quick Lane Bowl fundraiser to promote the game

• Assisted the Event and Hospitality Manager at client activations, corporate events, and player appearances by helping with the

activations.
• Communicated with clients prior to events to inform them on specific details and answer any questions they had in regards to
our promotions and activations.
• Activation day duties included assisting in the set up and take down of extensive equipment and staging, handling signage to

Conference Intern
• Completed my level II internship at the University Center Conference Chicago as a conference intern which included managing
the front desk of the University Center hotel and rotating as supervisor to handle any issues that arose, engaging with
customers as a guest services agent, supervising the Conference Center as a conference host, setting up and tearing down
conference rooms, and assisting conference guests with any requests.
