communications strategy that supports both BR and BRFS field business objectives.

Support the brand field communications strategy, ensuring alignment with Gap Inc. Internal
Communications, BR Internal Communications and BR Global Store Operations strategies.
Ensure a consistent brand voice in field communications across all BR and BRFS stores, despite
differing audiences, businesses, labor and service models.
Lead a team of 3 project managers, continually developing their writing and editing skills and
ensuring they have the ability to participate in projects outside their normal scope.
Oversee day-to-day messaging, as well as all major initiatives impacting field communications.
Developed a system of tools and resources to establish a more consistent communications process
(weekly email reminders, editorial calendar, weekly meetings, Field Communications Writing
Guidelines, etc).
Key field communications contact for cross-functional team leads, including Merchandising, Visual,
Store Planning, Finance, Inventory Management and Store Operations, providing creative solutions,
recommendations and counsel to streamline communications and ensure seamless execution for the
field.
Partner closely with field leadership team to understand their perspective and how field
communications can better advocate for the field.

8/2008 – 3/2011, Communications Specialist, Outlet Field Communications
Managed multiple business partners across the Outlet brand, both US and Canada, to ensure timely
communication, whether planned or unplanned.
Attended weekly GO Business Meetings as the communications and field representative, providing
feedback and recommendations on workload, product and strategy.
Key partner in supporting all field-facing launches, including, but not limited to, product launches,
new fixture roll-outs, visual merchandising redesigns, visual display roll-outs and employee incentive
programs. My partnership involved not just communication timelines, but collaborating on ideas for
contest and in-store collateral.
Identified and created new solutions for providing more strategic information to our field, including
short and long term inventory, sales and margin plans, and more information around product.
Lead project manager and designer for the GO Denim Relaunch training collateral and contest
materials, the first product launch of Gap Outlet that was supported with product training. This
included the training video, training poster and pocket cards, sales contest, buttons and
comprehensive communication. This collateral was later shared with Japan for their Denim relaunch.
Received an Exceed Award for this project.
On-site support for Field Leadership Conferences.
2. 8/2007 – 8/2008, Distribution Analyst, Gap Outlet
Managed the new flow distribution and weekly replenishment to GO stores for Kid’s Accessories.
Developed weekly replenishment and seasonal sizing strategies based on history and departmental
plans.
Partnered with merchants and planning to create pricing strategies.
Developed inventory replenishment plans for multiple seasonal Basics, leading weekly conference
calls with international vendors to gain their trust and partnership, and ensure they understood the
approach to our inventory position.
