Games that receive too high of an age rating will be sent back to developers who must modify the content to receive a lower rating or raise the rating. Age ratings include tags that inform consumers about what types of content a game contains, such as violence, gambling, or sex. An example game was rated 16 for mild violence, language, hazardous activities and gambling throughout the story.
